Konark
Sun temple on the coast of Odisha, built about 1250 by Narasimha Deva I of the Eastern Ganga dynasty in the form of the Sun's chariot with twenty-four wheels and seven horses. Local texts (Kapila Samhita, Brahma Purana) call the site Maitreyavana, Arka Tirtha and Konaditya and place Samba's cure there.
