Krishanu

Also called: Krsanu

The archer who guards Soma in heaven and shoots at the falcon carrying it off, knocking loose one feather (Rigveda 4.27.3, 9.77.2). The Aitareya Brahmana calls him a Soma guardian whose arrow cuts a nail from Gayatri's left foot.
