Nimi
Son of Ikshvaku and first king of the line of Mithila. He begins a sacrifice without waiting for Vasishtha; teacher and king curse each other to lose their bodies. Nimi refuses a new body and is placed in the eyes of all creatures, which is why they blink. Janaka is produced from his body.
