Vipasha

Also called: Vipash, Beas

The river Beas. In Rigveda 3.33 she and the Shutudri answer a singer and bow so that the Bharatas can cross; in the Mahabharata she breaks the cords of the grieving Vasishtha, which is given as the meaning of her name.
