Dvita
The Second of the three Aptya brothers. Named once beside Trita in the Rigveda as a receiver of evil dreams (8.47.16); a god born from the waters in the Shatapatha Brahmana; in the Jaiminiya Brahmana and the Mahabharata a brother who abandons Trita in a well.
