Kailasa temple, Ellora (Cave 16)
The rock-cut Shiva temple begun under the Rashtrakuta king Krishna I (757–772). Its galleries carry the genuine three-god scenes: Harihara with Nandi and Garuda, Tripurantaka twice with Brahma as charioteer, and Lingodbhava with Brahma and Vishnu searching the pillar.
