Ghosha

A woman seer to whom Rigveda 10.39 and 10.40 are ascribed. She grew old unmarried in her father's house and called on the Ashvins, who gave her a husband (RV 1.117.7). The Brihaddevata makes her the daughter of Kakshivat, disfigured by disease for sixty years, healed and given a son, Suhastya.
