Padmanabhaswamy
The reclining Vishnu of Travancore, seen through three doors as face, body and feet. Two origin accounts: the Kerala Mahatmyam's Parashurama consecration and the later, less regarded Vilwamangalam story of the god as a mischievous boy who became a falling tree. In 1750 Marthanda Varma surrendered his kingdom to the deity and ruled as his servant.
