Satyabhama

Also called: Satya, Satrajiti

A queen of Krishna at Dwaraka. In the Vishnu Purana she rides Garuda with Krishna to Pragjyotisha, is blessed by Aditi with unfading youth when the earrings are returned, and then asks for the Parijata tree. Popular Deepavali tellings make her an incarnation of the Earth and give her the fight with Naraka.
