Shashthi

Also called: Chhathi Maiya, Devasena

Goddess of the sixth day, protector of children, called Devasena, wife of Skanda and the sixth part of Prakriti. She revives King Priyavrata's stillborn son. In Chhath she is Chhathi Maiya and is called the Sun's sister.
