Shravan Mondays

Also called: Shravana Somvar, Solah Somvar

The month of Shravan is given to Shiva across north and east India: Monday fasts, water and bilva on the linga, Naga Panchami and Hariyali Teej within it, and Tarakeswar's Monday crowds. The Solah Somvar (sixteen Mondays) and Mangala Gauri observances were not confirmed.
