Sadashiva

Shiva with five faces and ten arms: Sadyojata (west, creation), Vamadeva (north, preservation), Aghora (south, dissolution), Tatpurusha (east, concealment) and Ishana (upward, grace). The Kamika Agama, first of the twenty-eight Shaiva Agamas, gives the scheme; Shaiva Siddhanta calls the five works the Panchakritya, and Kashmir Shaivism lists Sadashiva third among the thirty-six tattvas. Pashupatinath's linga shows four faces with Ishana understood as the unseen fifth; Elephanta's great bust is read as three of the five.
