Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa
The one supreme being of Balinese Hinduism, described as an absolute source rather than a personal god, of whom Brahma, Wisnu and Siwa are manifestations. The figure Acintya was for centuries a form of Shiva; the supreme-principle formulation was sharpened when Indonesian law required a recognised religion to profess one god.
