Tirumala

Also called: Tirupati, Venkata hill, Seshachalam

The seven-hilled seat of Venkateswara above Tirupati; the temple's nine-day Brahmotsavam in October and the Vaikunta Dvaram passage on Vaikuntha Ekadashi are its great occasions. Jaya and Vijaya guard its door.
