The god who stands arms-akimbo on a brick at Pandharpur because the devotee Pundalik, busy serving his parents, tossed him one to wait on. Worshipped as Krishna by the Varkari saints from Namdev to Tukaram, attested by 1189 and a 1237 Hoysala grant; in some Maratha Dashavatara sets he takes the Buddha's place.
