Benzaiten
Saraswati's Japanese form (the region field is the schema's nearest option; Japan). Her name renders the Chinese 'great eloquence deity'; she came to Japan with the Golden Light Sutra, carries a biwa lute as Saraswati carries a veena, has an eight-armed form from the sutra, is linked with snakes and dragons, and is one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Enoshima, Chikubushima and Itsukushima are her great shrines.
