Cheti Chand
The Sindhi new year in the month of Chaitra, kept as the birthday of Jhulelal (Uderolal). Its companion is Chaliho, forty days of thanksgiving in July and August for the forty days the Sindhi Hindus prayed to Varuna on the bank of the Indus.
