Lakshmi Purana (Odia, Balarama Dasa)

A fifteenth- or sixteenth-century Odia poem by Balarama Dasa, not one of the eighteen Puranas, read in Odia homes on the Thursdays of Margashira. It tells of Lakshmi's visit to Shriya the Chandaluni, her expulsion from the Puri temple and the hunger of Jagannath and Balabhadra until they eat from an outcaste's kitchen.
