Sister Nivedita

Vivekananda's Irish-born disciple, who walked the Amarnath route with him in 1898 and recorded it twice: in Notes of Some Wanderings with the Swami Vivekananda (the dates, the cathedral-sized cave, the ice-Shiva in a niche of deep shadow) and in The Master as I Saw Him (1910), where she sets the darshan on the day of Rakhibandhan with some three thousand pilgrims.
