Guha

Also called: Guhan, Kevat (the boatman of the Ramcharitmanas)

King of the Nishada boatmen at Shringaverapura on the Ganga, Rama's friend, who ferried him across at the start of the exile; in Tulsidas the boatman Kevat washes Rama's feet before letting him into the boat.
