Mahabhagavata Purana

Also called: Devi Mahabhagavata, Shakta Mahabhagavata

A Shakta upapurana of eastern India that tells the birth of the ten Mahavidyas at Daksha's sacrifice and places them round Kamakhya; dated from about 950 to after the fourteenth century by different scholars.
