Queen Suryamati

Also called: Subhata

Queen of King Ananta of Kashmir (reigned 1028 to 1063), who, Kalhana records in the seventh book of the Rajatarangini, founded mathas beside the shrines of Vijayesha and Amaresha, granted agraharas at Amareshvara in her husband's name and had tridents, banalingas and other emblems consecrated there.
