Sharika

The Goddess of Srinagar, a form of Durga and Parvati with eighteen arms, worshipped in a self-formed Shri Chakra on a rock on the western slope of Hari Parbat; in the hill's legend she took the form of a myna (sharika, haer in Kashmiri), dropped a pebble from Sumeru on the demon in the water, and the pebble grew into the hill. Navreh is her day.
